EVENT PLANNING

Business Events require a personalised touch and professional service.

Each Business Event calls for something different to match your purpose, style, requirements and budget.

Dragonfly Weddings & Events owner Bec McLean has been showcasing Corporate Events in Port Douglas since 2011 and can match your business with the perfect venue, menu, staff and suppliers.

From arranging event itineraries for multinational corporations to organising intimate business dinners, Dragonfly Weddings & Events has the expertise to deliver and can offer a range of unique venues including the heritage Sugar Wharf, dining under the stars in Rex Smeal Park and opulent private rainforest settings.

It’s the little things that matter with Port Douglas events, and we love the little things.

GET IN TOUCH

I recently engaged Bec McLean from Dragonfly Weddings and Events to help us with the planning and execution of a full weekend awards event for my organisation.

From the very first conversation that I had with Bec, I found her to be organised, proactive and helpful in every possible way. We had weekly status meetings and Bec was always quite a few steps ahead of me in anticipating issues and resolving them. She liaised on our behalf with all the vendors, hotel, entertainment, offsite events, transportation and managed every element of execution. Nothing was a problem for Bec including unpacking and polishing 10 very large trophies that were sent from overseas, it took her hours but was not a problem. Bec was there on the night, enabling me to concentrate on being the MC rather than worrying about all the other details. At the end of the weekend, our guests said this event was the best one we’ve ever held so that is the real testament to Bec’s skill in leaving no detail unmanaged and ensuring our guests had a fantastic time. Bec was also absolutely delightful to work with and if we have another event in FNQ, I will absolutely be seeking her support to make it happen.
